Our Story
I'm Jessica Aiello, founder of Ascend. With experience managing residential properties across Queensland and New Zealand, combined with more than eight years as a property investor and landlord myself, I've seen property management from every angle.
Like many investors, I once believed that hiring a property manager would reduce stress and protect my investment. After years of successfully self-managing my own properties without issue, I decided to engage a property management company to save time and gain peace of mind.
Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.
I was treated like just another number. Communication was poor, issues were overlooked, and I was left dealing with significant property damage with very little support. The asset I had worked so hard to build was not being managed with the care and attention it deserved.
That experience became the driving force behind Ascend.
